As the Local Enterprise Agency for the Magherafelt District Council area we are passionate about seeing new businesses start up and existing businesses develop.
Recognised for the strength of its business sector we are proud of the fact that the Magherafelt area has one of the highest levels of business start up and VAT registrations in Northern Ireland.
We have already helped hundreds of new businesses start up and existing businesses expand in the local area by providing advice, guidance, training and business units. If you are looking for pre-start training or information, advice and support, on any aspect relating to your business, you have come to the right place.
Business Start Training
The Business Start Training is designed to help people start their own business. If you have an idea for a business we can put you in touch with experts who will give you all the advice and guidance you need. You can join the Business Start Training at any time. The Programme is FREE and is delivered throughout the year in Magherafelt. If you are currently unemployed and keen to start your own business the Steps to Work Programme will allow you to test trade your business for up to 26 weeks while keeping your benfefits. You will also be entitled to an additional training premium each week and support from a business advisor.
