The Mid Ulster Social Enterprise Programme offers a package of support to charities, community, voluntary and development groups to help them move towards generating their own income by setting up a new social enterprise.
Testing the feasibility of a new business idea, assisting with applications for funding for a new business idea, updating the organisation’s business plan to progress a new idea and sourcing additional funding or finance to resource the proposal are all part of the tailored programme for pre-start and emerging enterprises. The Programme also offers existing social enterprises the opportunity to develop their capacity and sustainability through one to one mentoring.
A special event “Driving Social Enterprise in Mid Ulster” will take place in The Burnavon, Cookstown from 9.30am – 12.30pm on the 12th October 2016 aimed at raising awareness of social enterprise and providing networking opportunities for existing groups.
